This is a two days practical course for the colleagues interested in deepening their knowledge in plastic surgery reconstruction. The object of the course is to provide the participants with the fundamental skills to accurately perform clinical decision making and surgical skills in the different wound treatments and plastic surgical techniques. The course includes theoretical part and practical part, during which direct surgical skills will be acquired under the supervision of specialist.

Course Schedule:

1 Day

09:00-10:30 Anatomy of the skin

10:30-10:45 Coffee break

10:45-12:30 Wound Treatment options

12:30-13:30 Lunch break (lunch included)

13:30-15:00 Tension relieving technique

15:00-17:45 Advanced Local subdermal plexus flaps

17:45-18:00 Wrap-up discussion

2 Day

09:00-10:30 Axial Pattern Flaps – cranial body

10:30-10:45 Break

10:45-12:30 Axial Pattern flaps – caudal body

12:30-13:30 Lunch break (lunch included)

13:30-16:45 Myocutaneous axial pattern flaps, Free skin grafts

16:45-17:00 Wrap-up discussion
